My project consisted of me researching how to survive in Chile. In my project I had to study in depth about how to survive in these situation: food, transportation, acomidations, skiing, and leavings-greetings. To better understand the diffent type of living and speaking styles are in Chile i meet with my contry contact. Where I learned a lot about the slang and the food. For example in Chile they have a really special fruit called chirimoya and instead of saying thank you as por favor they say porfa.

Reflection
The most difficult part of this project was getting all the
information I learned about Chile in my book in a professional manner that met
the requirements. The finest thing about this project was doing the skits in
front of everyone. I am proud about how refined my booklet pages look because
of the amount of effort it took to design them. In this project I learned a lot
about Chiles culture but I will remember its slang for a very long time.

Reflexión
The most difficult part of this project was creating a refined
piece of work in Spanish that teaches the audience the usages of ser and estar
while also being funny. The part that was most fun was making the videos
because of the mistakes and the outfits we were wearing. I am proud of this
project because it is both funny and educational. By doing this project I
refined on my knowledge of the uses of ser and estar.

parte de este trabajo fue haciendo una obra de trabajo refinado en español que
enseña la audiencia los usos de ser y estar mientras estando chistoso. El parte
que fue el más divertido fue haciendo los videos por los errores y los trajes
que estábamos llevando. Estoy orgulloso de este trabajo porque esta ambos
chistoso y educativo. Por este trabajo refiné mi conocimiento de los usos de
ser y estar.

Alcohol Prohibición Acto de 1919
La ley de Prohibición de 1919 de alcohol era culpable por mucho del malo en América, como el crimen y el asesino. Prohibición quería parar el gasto de todo del salario familiar en alcohol por padres y impedir accidentes de ocurrir porque trabajadores bebían en trabajo. Para este trabajo, escribí de y estudié el corrido “Los Tequileros”.
La Prohibición prohibió la producción y el consumo de productos de alcohol en los Estados Unidos. Por el contrabandear de tequila desde México a los Estados Unidos, corridistas escribían Corridos Tequileros. Pero la prohibición no fue efectivo. Creó problemas como alcohol peligroso, crimen, violencia, los abusos policiales, la corrupción generalizada política, y una falta de respeto por la ley.
Corridos de tequilero hablan de traficar tequila, el principal tipo de alcohol que es hecho en México tiempo transportado a los EE.UU.. En "Los Tequileros", tres hombres llamados Leandro, Silvano y Gerónimo comenzar el contrabando en Ciudad Guerrero, Tamaulipas. Iban a San Diego, Texas. Los hombres finalmente son tiempo emboscados por "rinches" y fue abusada. El corridos es un conflicto entre los "tequileros" y los "rinches". La mayoría de los corridos de contrabando glorificaron los actos de los contrabandistas y hablaron de sus muertes violentas a las manos de "rinches".
El Acto de Prohibición de 1919 era una prohibición de alcohol. Por del acto mexicanos contrabandeaban alcohol a los EE.UU. Mexicanos contrabandeaban alcohol y fueron agarrados por rinches y fueron abusados por los rinches. Por el abuso de los rinches, corridos de tequileros se volvían populares para enseñar relaciones mexicano-americanas.
Reflection:
In this Project we
studied the historical occurrences between the US and Mexico. During this
project we learned a lot about the revolutions and different government that
took place in Mexican Revilution. From these revolution people created corridos
because it was a way for information to travel through Mexico. We also learned
about how the US treated immigration before and after war. Corridos are poems
that are sang often to move a surtine group of people or to communicate
information. I studied the Mexican American relationship during the Prohibition
Act of 1919. From the Prohibition of 1919 the corridor “Los Tequileros” was
made to talk about the law abuse of American rinches. I chose to research this
subject because I wanted to see the relationship between the smuggling of a
drug that is legal now in the past and the smuggling of drugs now.
I chose to make a
poster for my project piece. In creating
the poster I took a picture of Americas boarder
of the US and showed with hands the push pull affect America had on Mexicans during
this time period . I showed this by having on one side the demand of alcohol by
Americans but the justice system is prohibiting it with abuse because in this
time period alcohol was illegal. Also on the right side of my poster I have my corrido
in Spanish and American.
In writing my report
and my corrido I learned about the use of preterit and the imperfect tense. In this
project I learned about the Mexican revolution,
Zachary Taylor, farm workers union, bracero program, Cesar Chavez, Mexican American, treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. The
most challenging part of this project was knowing when to us preterit and when
to use imperfect. I overcame this challenge by referring to the sheets that
says when to these tenses are used and conjugated appropriately and had people critique
my writing.
